I have been looking for a .22 pistol for a while and I finaly found one
It is a Ruger 22/45 Mark III Target model with the 5.5" barrel with a 1:16 RH Twist.
The package came with the pistol pre-tapped for the weaver rail mount that was included in the package.
Going to take it to the Range next Friday and see how she shoots.

Excellent .22 pistol choice. I'm very fond of the two I have. I've outfitted one of them with an inexpensive red dot sight and it has become my favorite plinker.
Competition is one of the "great levelers" of ego.
Thanks I am looking forward to taking mydaughter out to the range and letting her have a go with it. It would seem that there are several modifications for this pistol as well.
I like the grips but, I think I will make me some new ones for it as I have some curly maple in the workshop that would look real nice on the black frame
