Obamas friends at it again?

Post by VBshooter »

Here is a story to be very concerned about,,It seems the 7th District Court,,, Yeah the one from Obama land,,thinks gun registration is OK , even Constitutional...

An appeals court in Chicago has ruled that the federal, state or local government can require all citizens to register their firearms under penalty of law.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals said that, even after the Supreme Court's high-profile gun rights decision last year, the Second Amendment is no obstacle to mandatory gun registration.
YOu should find this very disturbing as this is the same court that forced the 2nd amendment issue to be decided by the SCOTUS late this year, That case will tell if the 2nd applies to the states and local governmnets in addition to the feds..
the 7th District Court is showing once again its hostility to gun owners with its twisted view of rights and how to apply them.http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2009/08/19 ... 3857.shtml

What part of "shall not be infringed" do they not understand? Fellow gun owners if this does indeed hit congress we must exercise every portion of the democratic process that we have available to stop it.

IMO it probably wont happen any time soon. The democrats realize they have spent too much capitol on this health care fiasco. Their ONLY agenda is to pass laws in accordance with their own agendas and get re-elected. They know that to push something like this will kill them on 2 Nov 2012 - BUT WE MUST BE READY.

You can't tell ,, The old bait and switch can happen,,, Piggyback it through on another bill etc: THis one bears watching very closely,It would be a tough fight for them to even attempt, But anything is possible, that 7th District court is in Obamas corner and it shows,, This is the second decision that they have rendered to screw all of us.. This will go to the SCOTUS easily if someone wants to challenge it, And hopefully someone will,, Any attempt at registration will start a war like they wouldn;t believe possible,,

Sounds like you been watching that "Long legged mack daddy illegal alien usurper Obama!" video... :hysterical:

I think something like this will not even be considered until obama gets cap and trade and health care through. Once thats done he'll need to somehow regain some of the support he's lost. The real danger with this abomination is most Americans will see this as relatively benign and the big argument/lie will be "we just want them registered."

I wonder about the 7th Districts integrity,,, It seems to convenient that they go in the direction that they do, Registration like Real ID cannot be allowed to even be considered,The implications are just too dangerous, Any gun owner who would comply wouldn;t deserve to own one in the first place; The rev does has some good points,, You continue to poke a dog eventually it's gonna bite,
