OC Issues on the Southside.

Has anyone had any Open Carry issues on the Southside (VB, Norfolk, Chesapeake)?

I've heard some horror stories, but I open carry pretty much everyday after I get off of my govt job and haven't had a problem.

I've never had a problem in and around Va Beach with OC. The only OC incident I ever had was out in the Western Branch section of Chesapeake, but even that was relatively uneventful.

I was OC'ing while shopping at Food Lion and someone called police with a "man with a gun" call. Two LE's showed up but did nothing more than talk to me for a few minutes. Actually, we spent more time talking about the Kimber 1911 I was carrying than anything else.

They left the store and I continued my shopping. Never did find out who dropped the dime on me.

That was several years ago. I typically CC these days.

I have been OC'ing in Virginia Beach and Norfolk for a couple of years. No major negatives to report. Most people either don't notice or don't care.
