Range suggestion for muzzloaders?

Anyone in NOVA have a recommendation on a range to sight in muzzleloaders? NRA doesn't allow them at their indoor range. I've been to Clark Bros, but looking for something closer to Arlington if possible. Thanks.

None of the indoor ranges that I know of allow muzzle-loaders.

are the only 'close' public areas. There are other options if you join one of the Izzak clubs or other private ranges.

No help on where, other than Clark Brothers, but one thing I have found that seems to be pretty critical for the muzzle loaders is first cold bore shot. I found when sighting in my sons muzzle loader that after the first shot, if you did not let the barrel cool before making a sighting change, and taking the next shot, you could get the gun sighted in hot. However when you then went back and shot it cold, it would be in a completely different place. Generally it wasn't far off, but with the newer muzzle loaders being capable of shots out to 150-200 yards, that first cold shot counts big time. So now I have learned to sight both his and my muzzle loader with a cold barrel, then let it cool between each shot. Takes a while, but when you do get that one chance shot that's just past that magic 100 yard or better mark, you will feel a ton more confident where that bullet will land.

Izak Walton League Centreville- third Sunday of each month in Centreville has an all-muzzleloader shoot put on by the Bull Run Muzzleloaders. It runs 8am to 12 pm. It is not limited to Izak Walton members, but is open to everyone. I shoot out there with a bunch of other guys. We shoot everything from colonial flintlocks to cap and ball revolvers to 20th century custom target rifles. It is an outdoor range out to 100 yards. We do long gun and pistol targets at 25 and 50 usually, but have done 100 in the past. It is worth the drive, especially since it's all muzzleloaders and open to everyone. It's $20 to enter the shooting contest and there are a bunch of different prizes, though some first timers come out just to try the sport and that is perfectly cost free. We have people willing to help new shooters out getting into the sport, as well as a couple guys who actually build and repair muzzleloaders in case you're looking to pick up something new.

You can shoot almost any thing. They have 25, 50, 100, and 400 yard ranges.
