I was shocked that National Geographic would get so political. But I was even more shocked to read in Wikipedia as follows:
"In the United States, National Geographic Channel, launched on January 12, 2001, is a joint venture of National Geographic Television & Film and Fox Cable Networks. National Geographic provides programming expertise and the Fox Networks Group provides its expertise on distribution, marketing, and ad sales."

Fox News doesn't own a stake in the National Geographic Channel. National Geographic Channel is partnered with Fox Entertainment Group, which that itself is owned by News Corp.
I only know of Fox News' presumed right-wing partisan agenda (which they're in no position to call the shots on what gets aired on Nat Geo). I don't know of any presumed partisan agenda by the Fox Entertainment Group as a whole, which being a part of any media conglomerate is just one part of the puzzle to reach as many people as possible.
