Leading from behind?

Post by ratherfish »

More lie being dragged by the heels kicking and screaming!

"EXCLUSIVE: Obama 'cancelled missions to kill bin Laden THREE TIMES after getting cold feet - until Hillary Clinton stepped in', claims explosive new book
-Leading from Behind: The Reluctant President and the Advisors Who Decide for Him will be published on Tuesday
-Claims Obama cancelled three operations to kill bin Laden
-The killing of bin Laden is at the centre of Obama’s re-election campaign
-The 9/11 mastermind was eventually killed by US Navy SEALs in May 2011"

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... -book.html

Oh CRAP!
Looks like Hillary's in charge!
Guess she had to put her foot down when Obama started exceeding the number of times hubby let bin Laden get away!

Saw that on Fox News this morning. Reckon BHO and Hillary got in a p!ssing match about whether to kill Obama and Hillary had a larger-calibre weapon. :hysterical:

That's funny. A book coming out during the election season all based on an unnamed source. What could possibly go wrong?

Even if Obama did say no three times prior to the green light, doesn't that show he is in command? It's easy to be an armchair president, but if the mission goes south guess who's neck all that failure gets hung around? I wonder if the unnamed source has the details of the prior attempts. I'm thinking the prior attempts weren't as clean of an operation as Obama wanted to minimize the risk of American lives.

Or maybe he was saving it for a kill closer to election day to secure a second term. Who knows.

Oh, I completely agree the Dimocrats have been just as stupid with their ads. When you have two candidates that don't really bring anything to the table, the only thing that's left is to sling mud.

I have learned that when people say things like "gain some clarity" or "open your eyes", they tend to look through some rose colored glasses like whatever position they're taking can do no wrong. I'm doing just fine with the vision I have now thanks.

Obama has been a lackluster president that hasn't accomplished anything, but Romney isn't going to be some savior. He'll just continue to further the agenda of government control as the Republicans see fit.

I don't have television so I'm not bombarded with whatever trash ads the PACs on both sides are rolling out, but the ones I've seen online from the actual candidates haven't been that bad.

Not looking for a "savior" thanks. I already have one.

One side is mounting the dirtiest campaign in American history.

Does your "vision" allow you to see that?

Oh absolutely! This is going to be the standard that every future election will be based on in our new post Citizens United world. The gobs of money that will be spent on such trash is horrible, but the Supreme Court says it's their money so they can say what they want with it. Freedom of speech and all that. The official campaigns can't even coordinate with these people, so what could possibly go wrong??

If I did have the desire to watch political ads, I'd watch them at http://www.youtube.com/user/BarackObamadotcom/videos and http://www.youtube.com/user/mittromney/videos where you don't see videos about cancer, not paying taxes, and all the other smoke the PACs want to put out there.

It has nothing to do with Citizens United or with money. The dirty level of Obama's campaign is an issue of character. And anyone who thinks that the campaign and the superPAC didn't coordinate the cancer ad is being willfully blind.

The excuse that Obama might have had operational concerns the first three times that he chickened out is belied by the fact that he did it on the advice of Valerie Jarrett. Who imagined that she was actually the CINC?
