Interesting. 1,869 likes out of a total of 28,172 votes is only 6.6%. The US population is 13.1% black. Assuming that equal proportions of the black and white population use Youtube, less than half the BLACK folks approved of that appeal.

Of course, I don't know that you can assume proportional black/white use of Youtube, and there are myriad other assumptions implicit in what I said. But still, it is, as you pointed out, a very striking statistic.

It's never been about race to me. I'd vote for an Allen West or a Herman Cain if they were running for President -- particularly Col. West. Ultimately it comes down to ideology, and 99.9999% of the time, that means the Democrat is not going to get my vote. It just so happens that many minorities have been brainwashed to believe the Democrats are "their Party," which makes many of them Dems. Oh well. They're dumb enough to believe the hype and the lies, then so be it.

I fail to see the distinction. A person is trying to rally a section of the voting block. First he did for the African Americans in this video right before black history month started, then the latinos, then rural Americans. I was surprised I didn't see one to rally the LGBT voters or I would have thrown that in too.

He's not saying one voting block is better than another in any of the videos. He's saying "vote for me". It's all pandering.
