VFW Post in Richmond

[Virginia2AM]

In an effort to spread the word and raise awarness about the Second Amendment March (taking place in spring 2010 in DC and across the country), I need to set up a meeting where we can invite 2A supporters, I would talk about the SAM, why I am doing it, what people can do, then do Q&A and in the process try and get donations and sell our merchandise to help raise funds to pay for necessary expenses for the DC march.
So I am looking for a venue to have this meeting, and was thinking a VFW post in Richmond would be a good place. Please let me know if you frequent any one of them, esp. if you know one that has a good cook/group of guys who can help me do sort of a dinner fundraiser, or any sort of fundraiser.

My husband is a lifetime member of VFW, and we go to a post in Hopewell, but they seem to be not very entusiastic in working with me on this project. So I am trying to broaden my audience and would appreciate any help.

That said, I am still the only actively involved person working on the march in Virginia, so please consider and let me know if you can take some of the tasks/work in your hands.
Thank you,
Leyla Myers

Leyla - Call Sara Carter at the Bass Pro Shop in Ashland. She's in charge of the classroom and its free for related activities. If the NRA-ILA can get it, I'm sure that you can.

I can tell you that weekend days are pretty much booked up by some firearms training company that hogged the calendar
