Malware may knock thousands off Internet on Monday
According to the FBI, the number of computers that probably are infected is more than 277,000 worldwide, down from about 360,000 in April. Of those still infected, the FBI believes that about 64,000 are in the United States.

Well it seems that my laptop, which runs Ubuntu, was unaffected. No surprise there.

And, now that I'm back home, I see that my main computer, running Windows 7, is also able to connect.

Good stuff.

I was kind of leery of letting a website set up by the FBI get to lookin' in my computer...

This was pretty a non-event for any ISP or enterprise with a net admin team of even modest skill.
