Just looked it up. Yes, they do. No, he hasn't.

If I were Romney, I'd ask Rumsfeld and Cheney for their recommendation, and follow it.

Department of the Treasury: ??
Secretary Timothy F. Geithner

Should be Ron Paul, but Rand Paul would do.

While I agree that some of those positions could go away, I would be stunned if any of them actually go away.

Alan West needs to be on this list. Of course, he's my first pick for Romney's VP.

Chuck Norris would add another level of awesomeness to the lineup as well.

Excellent call on Palin for Interior. I hadn't thought of that one.

How about Paul Ryan for Sec of the Treasury?

I'm not convinced of Gen. Petraeus's conservatism, so I wouldn't put him as veep.

You've got to have Bobby Jindal in there to really get an agency running right.

Bolton would be an excellent choice for SecState.

I see Ryan as the next Speaker. If we are going to have a conservative government, we need real conservatives in the Congressional leadership positions, too. I also think a governor or someone with real executive experience is a more credible VP than a legislator - for the same reason that such experience is a prerequisite for a good President.

Jindal is turning Louisiana around and out of a very deep hole. I think he'd want to have groomed a capable successor before going national - and such a management action would be a huge plus for his national credibility. He is Presidential material, and I think is still in his first term as Governor. It would be great for him to have a full, impressive track record as Governor.

The conservative wing of the Republican party has a very strong bench, but as we saw from the presidential candidates, not much of a starting lineup.

I'm voting for Odawg, since when presented with two identical cuts of chicken I usually reach for the dark meat, as you should already know.

But I still think Bolton in that post would be great, is that permissible?

If you're referring to the banner in my signature I just found it funny and figured I'd share.

I see reformatting my cpu somehow let you off ignore. i'll be fixing that in a jiffy.

My first wife was a liberal.

I already personally proved that "match made in heaven(hell)" wouldn't work.

Truth. But like any relationship where only one partners heart is into it (it aint mine), it grows stale fast. Hence the handy ignore function IRL lacks.

We could list everything you ignore but it would cost Rick a fortune in bandwidth!
