I've been researching my next purchase and T&R Firearms & Shooting Supplies comes up as having some really great prices on what I'm looking for. Has anyone ever done business with them?
Has anyone here ever used Gun Genie to purchase a gun that could not be found in your local shop?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Re: T&R Firearms & Shooting Supplies in Warrenton
Never done any business with T&R. From looking up the address, it's in a residential section, so I expect it's a mail order type company run from a home. Looks like he does mostly FFL transfers. Couldnt find a web site or any other way of ordering shooting supplies.

I sent him an email and will provide results if I end up dealing with him. His prices are very good compared to the competition.

I've done business with him (Mr. Thomas Drinkwater) several times in the past. Good guy, works out of his house, usually gets a couple tables at The Nation's Gun Show. I usually just email him and ask if he's got whatever I need in-stock, and then I drive over and pick it up. Interestingly, that usually means that I pick the stuff up in the late evenings on the weekends--somehow his schedule works out that way.
I'm going to need to talk with him again about some powder and bullets...

He gets a lot of spam and has a filter. If you haven't done business with him before, it is likely your email got filtered. He usually is very prompt with returning emails (during his business hours). Call him and see if your email was filtered.TSC wrote:Never did hear back from Mr. Drinkwater via e-mail...
I've done business with him several times and have been pleased. He runs the FFL on the side, so his hours of operation are Mon-Fri 7PM-9PM and something on Saturday. He usually has guns in stock and has very good prices on Davidson's/Gallery of Guns.

His prices were very good and admittedly, I never called during his business hours. Next time I'm in the market for a gun, I'll give him a call between 1900-2100.

The guy is great to deal with. Great prices in the area via GalleryofGuns.com (Davidsons). He offered to hold a gun aside for me to buy at the Nation's Gun Show in Chantilly, but I made the drive out there and picked it up early. BTW, the gun he held for me was an LCP and he actually had several on hand which is pretty amazing considering how fast they are moving.
Thanks Thomas. Hope to be calling on you again soon.

Re: T&R Firearms & Shooting Supplies in Warrenton
Thanks to all for the great comments/feedback. After 20 years, we are no longer in Warrenton. We have moved to Fort Valley, VA - just the other side of Front Royal, between there and Luray. As always, we have a good inventory of firearms, powders, bullets, primers, etc. and would be happy to order anything for you as well. If Galleryofguns.com doesn't have it I may be able to get what you need from one of my other distributors. I can also deliver to the Nations Gun Show in Chantilly although due to volume there would discourage it as I can't give you the personal attention I like to give. Currently have lots of LCP's, Bodyguards, XD's & XDM's, LC9's, SR9's & SR40's, Ruger Americans in stock amongst others. Cell is 540-229-7744 and shop is 540-933-6856. -thed
