After having seen most other countries on the face of the earth I came to the conclusion that America was indeed exceptional. Upholding the ideals of the founders is the source of my national pride. I have served the country and I am proud of that service. The flag stands as a symbol of our ideals and identity. That is a good thing.

To teach respect and the knowlege that it is only by standing on the shoulders of the patriots before us that sacrefised all, that we gained the privelege of residing in America, is a parental duty because it is true, right and moral .

Ideals are important. Our society seems to now equate them with blind obeiience, subserviance, and "Unquestioning obedience and loyalty to the state". That is bold faced crap. My parents taught me what to respect and that is a good thing. Not the "state" not the state controlled schools.

Be offended if you so desire. I intend to salute the symbol of our freedom whenever it passes.

There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, in the end, 'Thy will be done.'
