Obama Ignores Congress and Grants Amnesty to Illegals

Some interesting notes about his decision:

Obama knows that the Supreme Court ruling is coming soon and more than likely is going to go against him. How better to usurp the authority of the court and to slap the states in the face than to legalize a large block of them?

African Americans are overall not happy about the decision to hand out a million work permits to workers competing directly with them, but they will vote for him anyway and he knows that.
Obama could personally come and burn all of their houses down and they would blame Bush for allowing the matches to be sold.

The Latino vote who was starting to look more and more at Romney is now looking back at Obama because of the direct pander. If the Republican's say they will retract Obama's mandate, they lose Latino votes. If they support Obama's mandate it makes them look like hypocrites.

As much as I hate what he did, it was an overall brilliant political move with very little downside for a President who has a dream of a great welfare driven state.

And the increase in the labor supply will not be small. Most news reports at first suggested that around 800,000 illegal aliens would benefit from the president's offer of job permits. But that is a misinterpretation of estimates in 2010 about the effect of the DREAM Act amnesty that the lame duck Senate defeated. There were nearly 2 million illegal aliens who could qualify for the provisional part of the amnesty because they were in high school, in college or had already graduated from college. But only about 800,000 were expected to actually end up as college graduates and qualify for the permanent amnesty. Because the new Obama amnesty would not require college graduation, the 800,000 figure is no longer valid. All 2 million would qualify. In addition, the Obama amnesty would not require a person to even go to college which would add hundreds of thousands more illegal aliens to the beneficiary list.

With all those nasty Asians with their education and work ethic becoming the number one group coming here he had to rally the rubble in an attempt to garner favor with the Latinos, and any other little group that enjoys being a freeloading boil on the ass of the US... This little act along with his invoction of executive privelidge in the gun case against HOlder should IMHO get his bony ass Impeached..... WIll be interesting to see where the sides line up in the next few weeks///
