Uberti 1851 Navy Conversion .38 Spl- Questions

Anyone have one of these Uberti 1851 Navy revolver conversions? I'm thinking about getting the full length barrel conversion in .38spl. I have the 1851 Uberti Percussion and love shooting that, but black powder venues are limited. I was thinking about getting the conversion as a companion with the same platform, and shooting regular .38 spl ammunition through it. Do they handle modern smokeless standard .38spl? How was the quality? My 1851 percussion was decent, but have never held one of these purpose-made conversions.
