Pick up some Federal Premium 9mm luger 135 gr Hydra Shok JHP (PD9HS5 H) at walmart today. $21.97.. eekk
shot well, no problems in the Hi-Power.. says low recoil, don't think i noticed it much vs the 115 and 124 standard FMJ's i have for pinking/range

wonder what you guys think.. good, bad, ugly?

It's older bullet technology and no longer considered among the best in defensive ammo; but it will get job done. Here is a petty good primer on what's considered the best defensive ammo today along with reasons why:

It does say premium, so you paid the premium price! Not all 9mms will feed all 9mm JHPs, get a couple of other brands and try them out.
