Fool me once, shame on you.

Fool me twice , shame on me.

Fool me 3 times, I'm an Obama voter!
:hysterical:

Obama Pushes New Billion-Dollar Stimulus Plan Putting pressure on Congress to approve parts of his latest economic stimulus plan, Obama urged Americans Saturday to push lawmakers to approve his multibillion-dollar "to-do list" for creating jobs.

I don't see anything in that plan that will create jobs.

I am not in a position to where I can refinance my home eventhough I want to. I think the problem is because I'm not behind on it.

I am not hiring anyone for my business (vets or otherwise) just because I'm getting a tax break. Only increased demand for my goods and services will move me to hire more people to better serve my customers.

While I support clean energy, I don't support tax credits for them. Instead of trying to make a more expensive energy source cheaper, how about we end the oil subsidies and show everyone the true cost of oil. We can then let the market decide if people want to either spend more money fueling their gas guzzlers or move to something that will then look more economical.

Quick analysis.
"an expanded program to help homeowners refinance their mortgages" - money handed to banks who otherwise would be forced to mark to market houses that have lost half of value
"an extension of tax credits for clean-energy companies" another Solyndra must be very close to go belly up.
I don't have time to read the program. But doesn't look good.

There are no oil "subsidies". This is a canard put out by Obama.

I'm sorry, that's what everyone on both sides of the aisle are calling tax credits for oil companies these days.

http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Politics/2 ... ion-a-year

The problem is that I find it hard to find a source that has a dollar amount of tax breaks that oil companies receive that no other business can file for. The general public just sees the overall dollar amount and says "that's not fair" when they don't see the ton of money the oil companies spend each year on R&D.

In the name of simplfying the tax code, I'll happily give up my business deductions if they do too.

In my opinion having less taxes stolen from you isn't a subsidy.

Fact is the government is the greatest recipient of dollars from the energy sector at all levels....period.

ANOTHER porculus to pay off Obama's benefactors?

Not only NO but HELL NO!
