AR-15 Buttstock

Post by Vorkosigan »

Ok here's my question:

I'm 6' 4", and the standard 6-position collapsible stock on my AR is a couple inches too short to fit comfortably when shooting. Is there a stock designed for people with longer arms, or some kind of an extension that can fit over the butt?
I am not a pacifist. Pacifism is a shifty doctrine under which a man accepts the benefits of the social group without being willing to pay - and claims a halo for his dishonesty. Life belongs to those who do not fear to lose it

I've wondered the same thing about the AR-style collapsible stock on my Mossberg 500 shotgun (I don't have a AR-15 rifle). At 6' 6" myself, I would like to have another notch or two to move the receiver a little further out.

I do know that ATI makes a wedge that will change the angle of the buttstock. That might be a slight improvement since I've never see a longer buttstock.

Del-Ton carries a few 1" extensions for the A2 stock. I haven't seen one for the m4 style.
