I've been done with Crappy-Non-News for years. That's just a biased attempt at garnering more gun control. They need to.go study John Lotts "More guns, less crime"...

Unfortunately true. I find more objectivity in Russia Today. Kinda ironic.

I suppose, in the interest of full disclosure, it is worth pointing out that the article you are hating is an op-ed piece that explicitly says is only the views of the writers. How do you deal with the occasional op-ed piece from the right that is published by the Washington Post? Do you say it is garbage because you hate the WP, or does it stand on its own? Tarring everything in CNN because you dislike CNN seems like a broad brush. Maybe it is just easier to hate it all and not have to think about it?

I have named the Communist News Network (CNN) this ever since the mid 80's when I was in the military. CNN has in my opinion worked more against our troops and country then any other news organization that I know. If they get a lead they will run with it no matter the cost and call it good journalism. You can have it if you want it, but it is one channel that I skip where news is concerned.

No it was the culmination of many of their antics/stories/editorials over the past few years. I agree it's just one writer's opinion but I'm tired of their slant on many levels.

They seem to me to try to influence their audience way too much. Many anchors seem to express their opinions on the matters rather than report. It has truly fallen in terms of credibility, for me. To each or his own. I'm switching to NPR/BBC.

Thanks for the comment.

I get all my news from the Internet and my wife being the analog type subscribes to the Roanoke Times, I honestly think TV news is for senior citizens...no offense.

How can you have your news spoon-fed to you like that? Such passivity! Its better to read whatever interests you on your own schedule. Plus you get news "they" (insert whoever you think "they" is of course) don't share on the MSM.

Allof the good unbiased news on say, the Trayvon thing has been online, the MSM reports are so one sided the agenda is obvious.

NPR incidentally is good for international and scientific/technical pieces. I really haven't seen much of a liberal bias in their news or even that talk show with Neil Cohen is it? The opinion shows obviously have that bias.
