Re: Your user ID?
One of those words which kids come up with. For the few of us which have ever uttered it, it meant pretty much anything from adenoids to hemorrhoids to tonsils to appendixes to testicles. I only chose it because it's funnier than hell to say. Funnier than when the hogs ate our little sister. Funnier than a pay toilet in a diarrhea ward.

I got bit by a (water)moccasin or it's close relative the copperhead. I never saw the snake but felt the bite and had all the symptoms.

Re: Your user ID?
When I started my business, I named the business "ALL-IN Enterprises, LLC" since I was really into playing online Texas Hold'em Poker and I wanted to go "ALL IN" with the business. Then, for the main sales website, I wanted to keep the name generic so that I could take it in whatever direction I chose. So, I chose http://www.all-in-general.com.
I have several other sites that have more specific names, but all-in-general is kinda the catch-all for anything and everything that I want to sell there.
Nice outfit, Speedy!!

Several years ago, I decided that I wanted to learn how to shave with a straight razor. The first razor that I bought was new, and was manufactured by Dovo. A few months in to my new venture, I found a discussion board for straight razor stuff, and chose newdovo as my ID. So that's what I chose here, too.

Paliden, If of all not spelled correctly because of getting handle on aol years ago. He was a old west gun slinger who like to help people whom needed and could not find anyone to help them, well that;s me. I like to help people! When I went into the Marines in 70 I could Paliden as my call sign, my parnter was "Black Ice" He was like an ice cube in combat. I learn a lot of patience from him and he learned determination from me. We were a good team!

Re: Your user ID?
I've been using this user name for about 10-12 years.
It's a mixture of some of my initials and the name of a character from a show I used to watch as a kid.

That's way cool !!!!!!!!
I usually look for something unusual so I dont end up with an ID like dk22312-332ss that some sites offer when others are taken.

My father owned a Texaco station in a community called Oak Ridge. The building had stars on the front facade that were part of the Texaco logo. People giving directions to that area would say... "Look for the Oak Ridge Stars"
