Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all

Post by OakRidgeStars »

While campaigning in Louisiana, Rick "Sweaters" Santorum stopped at a local gun range to test his marksmanship. While he was firing, a woman in the crowd shouted "Pretend it's Obama".
And while Santorum tried to recover from one misstep, a supporter in the audience added an off-message wrinkle. As he fired the pistol, a woman in the crowd shouted: "Pretend it's Obama."

Santorum was wearing protective ear muffs. He said later that he didn't hear the remark but denounced it as "absurd."

The Secret Service, which provides security for Santorum, was trying to identify the woman.

I guess it could have been worse. She could have thrown an Etch-A-Sketch at him.

Only a genuine idiot would shout that with the Secret Service in the same room.

Kudos to their investigative and attentive powers to be unable to identify her though.

WTF!!!! I am so sick of morons immediately accusing "Liberals" as petty attempts to mask the absurdities of extremists (pick any party you wish in this regard). You make ALL gun owners look like morons!!!!

At the time I'm sure she wasn't thinking about the secret serve in the room. Any video of Santorum shooting? Something tells me he'll have all the signs of never having shot a gun before.

Nice photo op. Next time don't show up in a suit Rick!! He may have done this beofre but just looks terribly out of place. Where is Perry when you need him? He may have been drummed out early but he would know what to wear at a range.

Now as for the woman, pretty stupid to say that at all, not just in the prescence of the Secret Service. As much as I dislike our current president someone shooting him would be just about the worst thing that could happen to this country. He would be a martyr and thus enshrined forever and his polices however terrible would be similarly lauded. Nope, I pray everyday for his health and well being, if only so that history can shine a clear light on his presidency.

President Biden would be epic. That guy is a one man comedy wrecking ball.

Shame he got drummed out of the Dem primary early and he was the sidekick instead of the other way around.

Kreutz, you voted him in! And you plan on doing it again! sheeeeeesh.

Liberal self loathing is a hard master to serve huh.

Polaris....It was a tongue in cheek comment! Even though I wouldn't put it past the obama brown shirts, I doubt it was staged by anyone but the scatter brained perp.

Obama got elected in the first place. Obviously 51% of the population are either asleep or stupid! Chances are there's one at the range...
