I love travel pay!
The idea is to get paid for food while on travel, but instead you live off a box of cheez-its for the entire time you are away.
The benefits of such starvation activities are evident....

Been there, done that! Staying in a hotel with free hot breakfast is great, especially if you can take a bag of stuff to go from the hotel for lunch!

Better is to get more than enough PD to eat well and still save $30 a day or so. Then get the Motel paid for by the company. Eat meals from a micro nuke and store food in a small fridge. Makes for some very nice toy purchases,Now if the purchase could only be tax free all the time too!!

I hear ya, I'll be doing a lot of travel soon...cereal, PB&J, and noodles will be my world.
