Guess kreutz has a unique on line personna for every forum.

You know, I kind of like this particular topic. Discussing who was a great leader is interesting to me. I really enjoy reading the responses.

Taking jabs at Kreutz has already resulted in one thread being locked. How many other threads shall be locked for the same reason?

Patton

He had the guts to say what he thought ( no political correctness)

He saw the Russians as our next enemy and wanted to take care of them while we had the troops in place--no Cold War.

As pointed out before people can lead for good and for bad. Hitler, Mao, Stalin all were extremely effective leaders. They got people to do amazingly evil things and deluded whole nations.

Setting those aside who through their leadership did great evil, I think we have several candidates for best. At the top of my list would be Winston Churchill, Mother Thersa, Patton, Pope John Paul II, and Reagan.
