gun show reviews?

I am new to the area and going to my first show in Hampton roads. Both the C&E show and SGK show are this weekend.
Which one is better?
Any opinions, reviews, thoughts?

As far as tables/vendors/products/prices, can't help too much. The C&E gun show is at the Scope, in downtown Norfolk. IF the parking garage is full, you might end up at a satellite parking garage up to a few blocks away. That's a long way to haul a case of ammo or two (I speak from experience ) or an oh-so-discreet tacticool camo sniper rifle drag bag! You will also find more folks just hanging around the Scope if you can't park in the Scope parking lot and have to walk in from outer parking areas. I got followed once from the Scope to a satellite parking lot, and while it was probably innocent I was on a somewhat heightened state of alert for the entire three blocks. I'm not sure if they charge for parking or not??? I seem to recall city parking being free on weekends. When you're at the Scope, you are only a few blocks from Bob's Gun, if you want to combine trips.

The Virginia Beach SGK gun show is at the Va Beach Convention Center, so parking is right there next to the building. If it were me, I would go to the SGK show just because the venue is more open and nearby parking is a certainty.

I think you will find that the majority of the vendors are going to be the same. I know that is the case here in RVA. I would imagine since both shows are on the same weekend the bigger shops will probably split up their inventory to be at both but the smaller dealers will probably have to choose which one to attend.

I generally prefer the SG&K shows here in Hampton or Va. Beach. Usually a lot of tables. I've been to a Norfolk C&E show once and have no desire to return. I think there is an SG&K show coming up at the end of the month here in Hampton.
