Just moved to VA...Want to kill some yotes!!!!!

Post by Infidelusmc »

Hey. Just got transferred from Camp Pendleton to Quantico. I live in Remington and looking to hunt anywhere from culpepper and warrenton areas and in between. Don't know anyone yet and looking to do some hunting. Checked out C.F. Phelps last weekend and few guys almost Dick Cheney'd me cause they are idiots. I'm a good guy and an active Marine. Help a brother out.

Hunted yotes for 2 years in remmington. Thick as theives out that way. 29 and 17 north along the lines. Best bet is to knock on some doors and ask if you can hunt the land and you will be supized how many ppl will let you. Here is a real good spot I hunted 3 years ago and nailed quite a few to say the least.. There is a private air field in that pic to the right of the woods and a farm, they linger in the large wooded area and come out around dawn and dusk. With a caller you would do well.

Also, on the back side of remmington along the train tracks is a real good spot. I have noticed they like to hang around within half a mile of 17 to opal and 29 from remmington to warrenton. They are easy to bait with road kill ( mostly what they eat) but can't resist a rabbit call. Not sure if they still offer it but the faquire fox hunt club had a bounty. I started shooting them b/c they nearly killed my dog out that way.

A Virginia Game Warden called a West Virginia Game Warden and told him, "Come get your coyote out of my trap."

The West Virginia Game Warden replies, "What in the hell makes you think it's my coyote?"

The Virginia Warden says, "Well, the SOB has chewed three of his legs off and he's still caught in the trap."

And the Virginia game warden had run out of ammo trying to shoot the trapped coyote so he needed some help getting it out.

See if Virginia Sports Club has any membership openings. They have property along the river near you.
