Building a DMR

Post by UpAllNightDude »

Not sure what to do about a free float tube. I'm in between a Midwest Industries SS15, and a Troy Extreme Battle rail 13". Anyone got any experience with either of these? I'm going to be running some basic back up sights, and a Nikon M-223 on it. I don't need 15 inches of rail space, but it sure would look cool!

I really wish someone would build a FF handguard with a long bottom rail and a stub top rail. I can put my Magpul AFG on the bottom, with room for a bipod, and a backup front sight on top. They usually make them the other way around  I put a YHM lightweight railed FF hand guard on my 3-Gun rifle. It's a little thick but it works, and I got it for $120 due to a mistake an online vendor made.
