Here is the way an old DI taught me, and he was the same DI that placed the M14 in his crotch fired and said "See there is no recoil" :hysterical:
Dump the Mag. grab the pistol with your right hand, place the left hand over the slide and bring both hands together. This will also allow you to catch the chambered round in your hand and lock the slide back.

Am pretty sure Gilberts (now Sharpshooters) rents Kahr's. I think they might have a PM9 or .40 on the wall.

Thanks to everyone who sent suggestions on how to rack a slide easier. One of my friends also said the slide and springs need to be lubricated which helps a lot an of course the more you shoot the components loosen up. :clapping:
