CZ83 in 9mm
I recently came across a CZ 83 in 9mmx18mm. The asking price was $495. In general I have heard good things about CZ, but not the 83 specifically. Anyone have experience with this gun? Is 9x18 ammo more difficult to find or more expensive than 9x19?

Ballistics are about the same as the 380acp. Ammo isnt hard to find but a lot of it is Russian. You are not going to find it on the shelves at WalMart. CZ makes good pistols but I personally would not want one in 9x18 unless you just want it for something different.

A CZ-83 for that price is way too high in my opinion.
9x18 is more expensive than 9x19 but not outrageously so. Back in the 90's it was the cheapest stuff around but that was when the former Soviets were dumping their surplus stuff and before they discovered marketing. You can order plenty online as long as you don't mind the steel-cased stuff.
