Good to hear it has been smooth going so far. Please let us know how long it takes AZ to send your permit after you apply.
So, per the above post, I emailed Arizona and requested the application package way back on Nov 25... The application package arrived today, Dec 24. I don't know whether to be miffed at the Arizona bureaucracy or the U.S. Post Office for a month delay. If I had to guess, I'd bet the delay is due to the office that administers CHPs, since Arizona is now a "constitutional carry" state and residents now do not need permits to carry, so they may not be in any hurry to send out permit apps that they feel are extraneous.

Oh well, I've got it now.

Wow. That's pretty slow. I hope AZ will do much better with the actual permit if you apply for one.

It took PA less than a week to get my permit to me last year - too bad PA no longer does permits by mail.

Nope. Since they became ConCarry state they relaxed the training requirements. Used to be you had to take the training In-State. Now they accept just about anything...and as such are becoming the new "go to" state for a Multi State reciprocated permit.

I'd blame the USPS.
