America's Most Dangerous Cities

Post by Tweaker »

http://realestate.yahoo.com/promo/ameri ... -2011.html

1) The top (read bottom) four cities are all Dumbocrap liberal utopias. This was unreported.

2) Massive increases in personal firearms ownership, unprecedented numbers of issuances of CCWs, increased Open Carry advocacy, constant setbacks for anti-gun (anti-freedom) twunts in legislatures all across the nation and court victories (for us patriots) @ both the state and federal levels seem to SOMEHOW escape the notice of this "author". File this under things that make me go hmm. (Arsenio Hall, another of my cherished American negroes).

3) Note the obligatory "it's the number of cops that's why the crime rate is what it is" BS. How many people have had a robbery/rape/murder prevented because someone came to "take down a report" after the fact or "someone paid their debt to society" by being incarcerated? Zero-teen?

Discuss.

Yup. Somebody needs to compare the black and hispanic % of population, school dropout rate and degree of access to firearms and right to carry and see what the NUMBERS show. But I ain't got the time; and I already know the answer.

The whole list of ten is interesting. 7 of the 10 cities are in gun-friendly, shall-issue states. The other three are CA, and 2xIL.

If the correlation is gun-hating cities and high crime, then you would expect to see DC and Baltimore on the list.

It is certainly not an all inclusive, direct relationship, but I subscribe to the research of John Lott proving that it has a measurable effect.
