Anyways it's a Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm. I like it so far but haven't fired it yet, soon though soon! The story went like this I went to Virginia Arms to browse their selection, particularly looking for either a Ruger Mark III, Glock 17, S&W model 10, or a Walther PK380. But when all they had of them was the Glock I decide to look at it, the clerk let me hold both it and the gen 4 17. I told him I preferred the original because of the grip and he then showed me the S&W M&P 9mm.
Well the I liked it and despite much indecision between the Glock and S&M between weight, pounds of pressure to pull the slide, and feel of the grips I went with S&W in the end. Mainly because the clerk was knowledgable enough to tell me that when firing the Glock for extended periods the pressure points start to wear on your hands. So I felt the grips again and found the S&W more comfortable.
So there's the story of my new toy a gun unlooked for but loved at first site!
