I love guinea hens! They are great. I hear yall on the housing market. We only bought this house 2 years ago so it would be a short sale if we tried to sell right now--not a good thing at all. There are days when I would rent out the house and buy a trailer on land, but somehow I don't think that my 3 soon to be 4 kids would appreciate that one bit. We will see how things shape up in the next few years to come. Besides I need to let my eldest gain another year or two so he can help me with the goats. A 8 year old can drag over a small goat a 6 year old not so much.

Yeah I hear ya. Our youngest is six. Hopefully the stuff will stay off the fan for a while longer.

I was milking goats when I was four. I could get them to the milking stand at the same age (they tend to follow food, lol) I suppose that, these days, some organization would accuse my parents of child abuse for letting me handle goats at such a young age, but it never hurt me.
