It had a wood stock option but it was slightly more expensive and I was advised against it as probably being poor quality wood- (a the fact the wood stock and hand guard version comes without sling mounts was a bit of a warning sign)thekinetic wrote:Nice! I prefer the wood stocks but still, nice!
about $380 before taxTazguy04 wrote:how much did that pretty gun run you?

well from what i read it is defintely not a fan of the golden bullet from remington-needs HV rounds to cycle properly but they are still dirt cheap. Hopefully I will have better luck with it then you do, worst case scenario a bare bones 10-22 is only about $200 at Dicks if this turns out to be no good.Kustomefeft wrote:Shouldve went with the 10-22 IMO. I've had the gsg-ak and a gsg-5pk and both are finicky about ammo choices and both suffered from light strikes--- in the end I got rid of both

they can have it back when they take it from my warm dry hands : )SDChop wrote:Nice looking, I do love my 10-22 target tact but I dont zero experience with the gsg. Congrats on the first rifle. Lifetime fitness wants their towel back btw

Every semi-auto .22 Rimfire has problems with ammo, either Remington Golden or Winchester or whatever. My 10/22 likes Remington but still doesn't feed 100% of the time. Same with Winchester.Kustomefeft wrote:Shouldve went with the 10-22 IMO. Not true my 10/22 has everything I have put though it. I've shot Federal bulk, Remington bulk, fiocchi, and blazer bulk all without problems. The exception being maybe 2 jams out of thousands of rounds. It has been very reliable. That said for all I know the OPs gun will be also.jrswanson1 wrote:Every semi-auto .22 Rimfire has problems with ammo, either Remington Golden or Winchester or whatever. well the book for it definitely specifies HV .22lr saying non HV rounds may cause it not to cycle-so I am going to stick with that. Also pretty much every review and video i found while researching it claimed problems with Remington's golden bullets, which is I suspect because they don't generate enough pressure for it to cycle properly -at $3 a box for the hv rounds I am not really crying that i can't get the bulk cheap stuffJakeiscrazy wrote:Not true my 10/22 has everything I have put though it.
