Ranges in the area

Post by 9mmsteve »

I have searched the forum and the web and I believe personal knowledge of members might be a better option for me. If you have information on local Fredericksburg outdoor ranges, public or private, would you please post here (an hour or so away is fine). If the range is private or a club how do you "get in"? Thank you.

Give this site a try; I've found helpful.

Competition is one of the "great levelers" of ego.

I belong here (http://www.northernvirginiagunclub.org/), as do a couple of other forum members.
It is located about 3 miles from Caledon Natural Area on route 218 in King George.
Joining requires the purchase of shares in the club on an annual basis for several years.
If you have any interest myself or someone else would need to show you around as the gate is normally kept locked, but all members have the combination.

iwla.us

The Izaak Walton League of America Alexandria Chapter, but we are in stafford.

Show up for the once a month meeting, meet some members and get voted in.

Decen't private range, and only $80/year.
