9mm VS .45 ACP
9mm Luger operates at a higher pressure than a .45 ACP because of it. It has much higher velocity than a 45 ACP. But at the end both the cartridges have slight penetration differences and the impact also almost the same. So, which are Top guns to build and which cartridge will be the best.

Re: 9mm VS .45 ACP
For what?
No pistol cartridge is all that much better than any other for self-defense. Hitting the center of mass seems like a very hard thing to do under pressure of your life being on the line. Get a shotgun.
I don't notice any real difference in recoil from a 9x19 or a .45 Auto, other than 230gn and higher seem to twist my wrist and irritate my arthritis.
.45 Auto stock guns tend to be more accurate than 9x19 stock guns. Making an accurate target gun seems much easier with .45 Auto than 9x19.
If you live in a sane state, the 9x19 will, generally, hold more rounds in an easier to carry package than the .45 Auto.

Accu-shadow or a custom 1911.
