Proactive Shooters Firearms Training offers the highly coveted Utah permit class! We have offered a monthly Utah permit class every month since 2008. Our class is conveniently held at the Bass Pro Shops in Ashland, directly off Route 95. The cost for the class is $85.00

Our January 9th class (50 seats) sold out in 2 days after the AG announcement. We have added a Jan. 30 class date, as well as Feb 7. Our Utah permit class will also qualify you to apply for your Virginia CHP, and we will provide a certificate at no extra charge to allow you to apply for that.

Is the training for Utah also good for Florida?

The Utah classroom portion will satisfy the classroom training for Florida, but Florida requires that you additionally do a live fire exercise with the instructor.

Yes, and we provide an extra certificate for students to use to apply for their Va. permit.
