It was super hot on the range, so hydration and breaks were a must. Everyone took it easy and had a good time.
This was the first DH-II class so we asked for some serious feedback from the 4 students. They seemed to really enjoy shooting from their vehicle / using the vehicle as cover, the "man down" drill, the low light flashlight drills, night fire drills, and shooting from their back. There may be one or two exercises that we either take out or re-work to allow for more repetition of other exercises.
Heavy emphasis was placed on shooting from cover, off hand shooting and magazine changes. I think that the students can now do rapid mag changes in their sleep!
All in all, a very good and tiring day for everyone! [/span]
