ar accessories
Couldn't find anything previously posted about AR accessories. Looking for some opinions (no problem getting that here!
) on slings for AR style rifles and vests to carry rifle and pistol mags.

Re: ar accessories
I use a Magpul MS4 QD Gen 2 for all my AR's and shotguns. Mostly a single point but can go to 2 point in seconds...great sling.

Re: ar accessories
slings, strong feelings on two point slings vs one point. 1-points are fine for short distance work, if you're not going overland, but if you want to hold the rifle to you, and keep it in place, a 2 point is really required.
I standardized on the vikings tactical sling 2 point option.
for carrying mags, there are lots of options, the simplest is probably a H harness and a war belt. If you want to run plates/armor, then adding pouches to the carrier works well. Your intended use case will drive the setup.
casual range days
carbine training courses
rural patrol around the homestead
etc
