Re: Don't tell me you can't get the drop on an armed goblin
The T-Mobile store has a "no concealed weapons" sticker on the door - while they also state that it didn't apply to employees, I wonder if the bad guys will sue for false advertising.

Re: DC Police Chief urges public to "take down" active shooters
Pretty sure you were trying to be funny, but, if you put the stick, rubber band, and stone together, it would be illegal in DC. Slingshots are a prohibited weapon. What if I keep my stick, stone and rubber band disassembled and locked in a box? Then I'm good, right? Personally, I wouldn't try it. N...

Re: DC Police Chief urges public to "take down" active shooters
So let me get this straight, the anti-gun police chief of Washington D.C. is urging their disarmed citizens to "take down" an active shooter before the cops respond? Since they have only issued around EIGHT carry permits in the District I'm assuming that everyone else will be using sticks...

Re: Working before 10am is torture
In undergrad I slept in many days past 10 am. But... that was because I took as many "night" classes as I could; they met once a week for three hours, and that was easier to coordinate with my job where I worked midnight shift. Fairfax County just pushed back start times for HS (...

This conversation will always be filled with emotions and anger as they generally pick up right after a shooting incident, clearly this guy had a long history of issues in the workplace as well as more recently on his Twitter account and other social media. He should have been evaluated LONG before...

Letters + Numbers -> Glock 19 = Letters + Numbers -> AR-15.
I'm sure that's what she meant. Apparently 80% of police officers carry assault weapons in various calibers.
Who knew?

It's a jihad, but not a libtard anti-2A jihad. The perp's name is Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez. So much for all the fancy anti-4A "counterterrorism" technology the .gov is using to surveil Tea Party members and Oathkeepers. Oh, but remember, we took away some of those tools. If you're the ...

Unsurprisingly, the story came before the facts. They'll twist this and say that purchases should require an affirmative response, not allowing for the "loophole" that exists.

Sounds like she's probably actually already a VA resident, and has the wrong paperwork that says she's a Delaware resident.
She should fix that.
And then buy your gun.

Probably not well. From their website: Weapons: For the safety of all guests, pocket knives and weapons of any kind are not permitted at The Diamond. The only exception to this is law enforcement personnel in the performance of their official duties. Guests wishing to enter the stadium for a game or...

Anyway, I'll consider surrendering my guns when the DOD and DOJ and all the law makers stop using firearms to defend themselves. Re: More gun laws from the Dems
The angle they take on new gun ban legislation will be interesting, since accounts thus far have indicated the killer used a single handgun and reloaded it at least five times. So, "high capacity" or "military style" bans will have no basis. Not that having no real basis for new ...

Re: Judge restrains DC from banning permits
Good luck, all of the other restrictions (training and high fees, etc.) are still being enforced. Not to mention that there's about 42 square feet in DC where you can actually use it because of the 1000 foot rule they impose.

Re: Pew: Gun Control giving way to Gun Rights
I'd bet that a lot of it has to do with the fact that people have growing distrust of the police. One of the central tenets of gun control advocates is that the police are there to protect you, so you don't need a gun of your own. With the growing focus on police activities that may or may not be cr...

Re: Gun range installs ammo vending machine
What I would like to know is, why doesn't the range allow jacketed ammunition? I don't see much full lead rounds. Maybe 22LR... maybe a few Cowboy rounds... 45 Colt, 44-40, etc. That's about it. They might want to make changes if its a backstop problem. If the Libs get their way, before you know it...
