400 jobs lost. Good job, Maryland!
I know that Beretta moved their warehouses over to VA several years ago in response to legislation in MD. Can anyone confirm that their manufacturing operations will also be located in VA? Or has that not been announced?

PoliceOne.com's Gun Control Survey
In March, PoliceOne.com conducted a comprehensive survey of more than 15,000 verified law enforcement professionals' opinions on gun control. 70 percent of the respondents were field-level law enforcers — not office-bound, non-sworn administrators or perpetually-campaigning elected officials. Survey...

Re: Colonial Academy in Richmond
I don't like that they charge by the hour. That's exactly why I decided to get a membership. If I take a friend with me, we'll easily spend 2-3+ hours shooting and if I'm alone on my lunch break, I can grab a quick sandwich in the cafe and shoot for 1/2 hour. No time limits and lane reservation for...

I've become a little more stingy, yes, but because of availability, not cost.
My range currently limits me to purchasing 2 boxes a day and cracking the seals on the 1000 round cases I have is as hard for me as breaking a 20 dollar bill for a soda.

If you haven't already, take a look at Smith and Wesson's December 2012 Investor Presentation (the PDF about 1/2 way down the page).

I did some digging. It looks like the original source of the information is none other than Sorcha Faal...and therefore full of crap. I won't link to the site. You're welcome to find it on your own.

Former media employee here. I have yet to see any credible evidence that Peter Lanza was scheduled to testify on LIBOR. Every source promoting that information has some credibility issues (i.e. no documented sources). I'm not saying it's not true but from what I've read, it's unlikely given his curr...

Thanks all for the warm welcome!
Jim,
I'll take that under consideration! My brother-in-law is former secret service and his dad is former FBI and both are anxious to work with me. That said, it may be helpful to have an outside perspective. I'll definitely keep you in mind.
