Re: Defense Department guide calls Founding Fathers 'extremist'
I told you all the military was being conditioned to clamp down hard on US citizens when they're told to do so. When did this start? I just retired in 2010 and I still work alongside active duty today. What does this indoctrination look like so I can spot it? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2

I cannot blame them. They have a business to run. No matter how we feel.

Re: Ammunition on the shelves
It was indeed pricey, but at least it was there. That has to be a positive sign. This is one of the few things I try to be optimistic about.

Ammunition on the shelves
So I go into Gander Mountain on Rt 3 in Fredericksburg to see if they has any .45 in stock for a coworker. We are doing a "shoot and smoke" during lunch as a work function. I wandered in not expecting any luck. Not only did they have a pile of .45, this is the first time I have seen 5.56 a...

Re: Time to end this
I fail to see the big deal. They used an original draft of the Constitution with George Washington's notes on it. It didn't include the Bill of Rights because they weren't ratified until two years after this document was drafted. Just because the document they used didn't include the Bill of Rights ...

Try Buds Gun Shop online. If you add a handgun to the cart, they have a pretty good dropdown menu of FFLs.

Ammoseek.com is a pretty good search site that spans 31 different retailers. I like it because it sorts by price per round.

Re: How Marines Feel about women in Combat
It is fine. They are in combat now. Don't lower the standard for any MOS. If a person qualifies, then fine. As far as female vs male, I have seen too many sissy ass boys trying to be men to think that a woman can't do the job. If they can hang, then give them the chance.

Maybe, but it is good that he was disarmed by an armed school resource officer.

I have a P07 Duty .40 cal. Love it. 200 rds and not a single misfire. I also have a cz shotgun (Huglu) with about 25 rounds of skeet without an issue.
I am a fan.

It is a compelling read. However, we know that no action will be taken. Acting on it now would require too many people who can't imagine ever being wrong to admit they made a mistake.

Re: Early numbers show deer decline
I just moved here the beginning of Aug, which makes it harder on a guy trying to learn new grounds. Add the fact that I only got to hunt one day a week (still cannot believe you guys have suffered all these years with the No Sunday Hunting BS), but in 34 years of chasing whitetails, this was by far...

Re: Quite Alarming if True
I think some here have a really romanticized and/or very out of date view of the military. Truth be told I see no problem with todays Army firing on civilians, hell, many would probably have a hard on while they're at it. I was a lower enlisted dude 11 years ago (time flies!), if you think the mode...

Re: Quite Alarming if True
It is BS. If anyone believes this, they do not understand the military. Well I like to think I understand the military at least a little bit and I like to think everyone in the service then and now understands the oath they took to defend this country against all enemies foreign and domestic. Arab1...

That's clever. Good on you.clayinva wrote:Since they had laws against assault weapons in CT, as well as laws against 'high-capacity' magazines, clearly this shooting did not actually happen.
