Re: Hi Point 9mm

3 YEARS AGO? Your writing a review for a gun you checked out 3 years ago, how is that relevant today? The manufacturing industry is constantly changing. Yes I bought this POS 3 years ago and shot it. I also have guns a lot older, I've shot and still shoot, that are fine right out of the box. Out of...

If you're writing a review and expect to be taken seriously, spell check is your friend. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Why aren't you the snarky fellow. I stand by m hatchet job. The gun is a piece of crap. I understand ugly girls need love too, so you go right ahead on. As for your anal retentiv...

Re: Hi Point 9mm

OK, feedback. "Conjure", not "conger". Let me guess. You pulled the slide back with nothing in in the magazine well and it didn't lock back. If this is the case, you were not encountering a defect, as Hi-Points work this way by design. They will lock back when ejecting the last ...

Re: immature OC'ers

I don't think it is or ought to be about how you dress. Clothes truly do not make the man. It is about your demeanor. I'm just turning 50, but I can remember the young, dumb, full o' cum kid I used to be not long ago. It is surprising to look back on my behavior, loud music, foul mouth etc., and I ...

Hi Point 9mm

Hi all Bob from T.E.I here. This is the first of what I hope to be many Gun Reviews for the forum. I'm currently taping these segments for my web site. I specialize in budget guns. Just those words right there conger up ideas of cheap Saturday night specials. With the exception of the gun in this ar...

Re: Breaking In My New Kel-Tec 9mm

According to the FBI many years ago, the average defensive shooting was at 21 feet (7 yards) so I'd train at 7-10 yards most of the time, but also devote some time to longer range (15-20+ yds) to very fast close range (3 yds and in) to make sure you can do it if needed. I agree with RocKor. As a fo...

Welcome from a newer guy who is on plenty of forums and has written articles for a few I can say this is the best one. You might try cheaperthandirt.com or midwayusa.com for the mags. CTD is good at having old stuff avail. I'll check with my pro Sig students and see if they have any more. If ya go t...

Re: New member/resident from Harrisonburg

Greetings from "The Valley". We just moved here two months ago from Tucson, AZ. Being a member of "Arizona Shooting" for the past decade, I thought it wise to link up with a Virginia gun owner forum. I look forward to any help/collective wisdom from Virginia residents on laws, f...

Welcome aboard, Bob....from one instructor to another. I'm in Richmond, a ways south of Leesburg. Be prepared to run into some competition up there. Every street corner has an instructor's shingle hanging..... Jim Good to know. We don't know the area so I was just throwing darts when I picked Leesb...
