Re: Beretta may leave Maryland
Hopefully McDonnell has already been placing calls to get them to move their MD facilities to our state. Nice to see more industry taking a stand unlike what many of them did back in the 90's.

Re: Finally switched over to IWB
I carry IWB exclusively, all seasons of the year, and have been very satisfied with the Milt Sparks Summer Special and the Comp-tac MTAC.

Re: online chp classes
Yes, I was aware of the new legislation that takes effect on July 1. I even considered waiting until then and testing the clerk to see if they dropped the impermissible requirements but I would rather have my CHP a few months earlier. It seems in jurisdictions like Arlington that they will make the ...

Re: online chp classes
I've been an attorney for over a decade and I am far from naive about how local, state and the federal government works. Why do they do this when it is not required under the statute? Because they can and no one calls them on it. Since you are an attorney, why did you not call them on it or fight i...

Re: online chp classes

Re: online chp classes
I have attended pistol classes taught by Larry Vickers and Ken Hackathorn but the CA would not accept them because the training certificates did not have their NRA instructor number on them. I ended up taking the on-line course.

Re: New member in Arlington
Did you get the 22/45 with the threaded barrel? From what I have heard the wait for ATF approval on suppressors is brutal right now. 6+ months from the last person I heard from.Reca wrote:Officially picked up my mkIII along with a Bushnell TRS-25 and in the process of picking a suppressor

Re: New member in Arlington
Welcome! have you ran any 33rnd mags on your G19? & how do you like your Ruger MkIII? I think I want to buy one for the range.. I don't own a 33 round magazine, not that there is anything wrong with it. I have a dozen or so of the 15 round magazines though. Adding more before November. The Ruge...

New member in Arlington
Hello all! I grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland. Finally got out of the People's Republic of Maryland 7 years ago to the Commonwealth. Happy to be living in a state that respects the 2nd Amendment. Been lurking here for a while.
