Re: Trayvon Martin case hurts all guns owners.
kreutz, i respect your right to your opinions, dude. you probably think i'm an idiot, but that's your right. we just agree to disagree. that's basically my response to everyone on here too. we clearly will never agree on many things, so i really am signing out this time. i'll just resist the temptat...

Re: Trayvon Martin case hurts all guns owners.
i didn't say i still live there. i said i was going to school there, and i've never said i wasn't a virginia native. you came to those conclusions all by yourself ;) "this is chicago" is the present tense, the conclusion that you a currently living there is not too far fetched. dude, are ...

Re: Trayvon Martin case hurts all guns owners.
They won't do that, but they will slowly get the (internal) memo that this was not the minority gold mine it appeared to be at teh outset. jsg, goodbye. Your posts are as tedious to read as they are devoid of logic or entertainment value. dude, you need to relax. i was trying to understand what mig...

Re: Trayvon Martin case hurts all guns owners.
I didn't realize i was writing a term paper. Thanks for combing my internet forum posts for mistakes. Gun people have a strange sense of humor.

Re: Trayvon Martin case hurts all guns owners.
@SilentServiceVet dude, how are you telling me it's unlikely when it happened to me? i was walking from school, and i saw the guy (a homeless man) from across the street. this is chicago. So you live in one of the most anti-gun cities in America, and don't (can't even if you wanted) own a gun. So y...

Re: Trayvon Martin case hurts all guns owners.
hypothetically speaking, if martin had subdued zimmerman and walked away, do you think he would be charged with assault? also, if martin had beaten zimmerman to death, do you think he would have been charged with murder?

@SilentServiceVet dude, how are you telling me it's unlikely when it happened to me? i was walking from school, and i saw the guy (a homeless man) from across the street. this is chicago. i then followed my normal route to my destination: crossing streets to get to my normal path, and i noticed that...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8rws30uASw&feature=related he didn't go back to his car, which is why he wanted the police to call him so he could tell them where he was. he didn't intend to go back to his car because if he had he would have said "meet me at my car". he is already sear...

Re: Trayvon Martin case hurts all guns owners.
@mamabearcali you see, this is why it's tricky. by the time someone gets their gun out on you and points it at you it might be too late. hence, stand your ground. stand your ground doesn't say "you can stand your ground IF someone points or holds a gun at you". it says you can stand your g...

Re: Trayvon Martin case hurts all guns owners.
i said before, i'm not a gun owner,... Why are you here then? i'm here because this case, in fact, does hurt responsible gun owners, and i as a non gun owner wanted to chime in with my perspective and to say that i support gun owner's rights. one of my good friends is very pro gun, and supports man...

Re: Trayvon Martin case hurts all guns owners.
so...much...fail if you're referring to my post, i would like to hear your opinions about why i fail? if someone walks up to you and questions you, and you walk away thinking it's over, but they continue to follow you what would you do? trayvon didn't have a gun, so he used whatever he could to def...

Re: Trayvon Martin case hurts all guns owners.
If this new wrinkle is accurate, then this is not stand your ground at all but rather straight up self defense. If agent A engages in non-lethal threats (following someone) and agent B responds with lethal force (punching someones face into the ground) then agent A is justified by responding with l...

Re: Trayvon Martin case hurts all guns owners.
i'm not a gun owner, but i'm for gun rights. well, i'm not in favor of people owning bazooka's, sub-machine guns, or rocket launchers. in fact, my grandfather was a coal-miner, and he hunted, and owned guns. so i support the right. i just decided to post on this thread because i agree with the topic...
