Re: 22 range plinker
Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately ShotgunBlast, None of my of current firearms have conversion kits. Oh darn, I guess I'll just have to get a G17 to solve that. :enlighten: It's a crying shame, I know. It is a staple missing our collection anyway. Of the other suggestions how much do the Smi...

22 range plinker
I have a home defense and concealed carry firearm. I am now looking for a .22 for practice at the range. I want it to be full size, pretty accurate, reliable, inexpensive to moderate. I am looking for something that shoots smooth. I am used to glocks and kahrs, but am open to new choices. Awhile bac...

Re: Kahr CM9
I have a CM9 and love it. I have put a few thousand round through it and it is my daily concealed carry option. It can be pocket carried and is a lot of fun to shoot.

Re: OC for kahr cm9
I also wanted to mention that I have a blackhawk (size 1) nylon thumbcock OWB that is just "ok", but is isn't a perfect fit.

OC for kahr cm9
Most of the time when I am CCing my Kahr CM9, it is in a SmartCarry holster (love it) but ,I have never found an OWB that I like. When I OC my glock 36, I use a blackhawk Sherpa CQC and love it but as far as I can tell, they don't make anything for Kahr.. Does anyone have a recommendation for an OWB...

Never talk to the police
I want to say before anyone flames me, I love and respect good cops. I have numerous friends in law enforcement. I have seen numerous videos on the internet about gun carriers being stopped by the police. I then ran into this great video which whole heartily agree with. Its about 45 minutes long but...

Re: Speeding ticket!
Depends on the jurisdiction. In Va the judge cannot do anything about the points, only fines and charges on traffic tickets. They will take into account your driving record. In my opinion its hard to argue about curves and speed at 15 over the limit, judge will tell you cars have two pedals and one...

Re: Colonial Shooting Academy
I went to Colonial Shooting academy today. It was very nice. They are having a soft opening. The retail space was huge although not everything is in stock yet; I'd say about 60%. Everything was priced reasonably. The ammo was CHEAP!!! As in price. Some of the best retail ammo prices I have seen. The...

Re: Kahr CM9
I don't think it is just mine, as I have read scores of people with the same complaint. After talking with Kahr, it seems my only option is to round out the edges by taking it to a gun smith.
Re: Kahr CM9
widefat, Do you have the same problem about the sharp slide stop? I emailed Kahr today. They said they do not carry any other slide stop but will put me in touch with a technician who might have other options. I don't have a vise, sharpening stone, or a dremel tool, so I imagine filing it by hand wo...
Re: Kahr CM9
@brianj I also wanted to clarify that my purpose for this gun is an everyday concealed pistol for self defense, so the recoil isn't on the level of fun to shoot, but it doesn't snap like other small 9mm I tried. IMO, as long as I can hit my target, effectively cary it everyday, and practice with it,...
Re: Kahr CM9
I bought it new, and it needed a break-in. Everything was very tight and rigid (springs). The recoil isn't a problem; especially when compared to the .45 ACP I usually shoot. When compared to the Kel-tec PF9, it was a lot less snappy. I was able to re-acquire my target quickly. My grouping were abou...
Kahr CM9
Hey guys, I justed added a Kahr CM9 to my arsenal and after a couple hundred rounds, I am very pleased. The one main thing I don't like is how sharp and small the slide stop is. Does anyone know any who might sell a flatter slide stop? I tried the Kahr website, a few google searches, and Lonewolf (b...

Re: Colonial Shooting Academy
I saw this news article and noticed they said all shooters will have to pass a background check!?! http://www.nbc12.com/story/16975320/colonial-shooting-academy-on-target-for-march-opening I knew about the safety course, but a background check, that seems excessive. Has anyone ever gone to a range w...
