Thanks for the reply!
I actually jumped on the lathe this evening and just made a new hammer pivot pin, so that's all good now and the gun is up and shooting again.
It's amazing the amount of muzzle flash this little sucker puts out...
The mainspring latch is the only part I'm wanting now.

WTB- Ruger 22/45 MK3 parts
Hello guys, long time since I've been on here. :) Happy Holiday's to you all! I bought my girlfriend a MK3 LITE for Christmas at a great price, but now I know why...it needs some work. 1-The latch on the main spring/break down lever is broken. 2-The hammer pivot pin is bent. All the other parts seem ...

This is probably a stupid question.I'll ask anyway. How do I tell if it is chrome lined and what difference does that make?

Re: Keltec feeding issues
Yeah,i agree.I cleaned it up real good, then oiled it lightly and blew 25 rounds through it real fast today with 2 hang ups.I remembered when my dad first got his own keltec 380 it would hang up real bad.He called keltec and they told him to strip all of the oil off the gun and blow a box of ammo thr...

Re: What's your Hollywood firearm pet peeve?
I have always been intrigued at how they can have massive shoot outs, dozens of people shooting inside a warehouse ,a gun in each hand, all large caliber, many fully auto,no form of hearing protection whatsoever...then they whisper to someone 15 feet away and that person hears them.
whatever

Re: Keltec feeding issues
HAHA! I think ALOT broke down on that metaphor! But I know exactly what you mean.Knowing i'll have that second shot is why i'd rather carry a revolver, but i havent found one with equal caliber/round capacity that fits as nice in a hip pocket. I dont think the mag is the issue because it is insanely ...

Re: Keltec feeding issues
Okay, finally got a picture. It looks like the bullet is ramming into the pistol below the ramp.I don't understand this.Someone asked if I have tried another clip.I havent,i only have this one clip for this gun.Ever seen this before?Or know of a remedy?I have used this brand of ammo before with no iss...

Re: Keltec feeding issues
Thanks for all the replies.Every once in a while when I'm in the shop, and I think about it,I'll blow it out with the air gun and drop a few drops of air tool oil in it.I know,I know.I took a closer look at it today and saw something odd around the ramp area.Almost like it is not long enough????Stran...

Re: What's your Hollywood firearm pet peeve?
I don't understand why the Hero kills a badguy with a revolver and then leaves the badguy's UZI behind? DUDE PICK UP THE UZI :pistol: !!!! LOL! Exactly! My favorite Hollywood firearm scene is one with James Garner in "Support your local Sheriff".I know its impossible, and should peeve me,b...

Re: Keltec feeding issues
Is Magetch ammo really that dirty? I didn't know that.I hate to go to the trouble of sending it somewhere if its something i can do myself.Especially since I had the slide powdercoated,i figured KT might just try to blame the issue on that.I noticed that the Magtech ammo yesterday seemed especially ...

Keltec feeding issues
This is so pitiful.First day on here and I'm already on my third question.Sorry. I went to the shooting range today with my Keltec .380 ACP that goes with me everywhere.I like to shoot it occasionally just to keep the feel of the little gun fresh to me....and see if one day I'll actually be able to ...

Need help IDing an SKS,please
As much as I love shooting,I know very little about guns.Everytime I walk in to a gun shop to buy,or even just look at guns I get somewhat embarrassed at the fact I never know what the heck I'm looking at.The same thing holds true for my SKS.I've owned it for years and have shot thousands of rounds ...

Can someone ID my pistol please?
Hello, new guy here and already asking questions! I have a Colt automatic pistol that my Dad gave me years ago.I know its not an antique,or even anything close to it.I think it's about 12-13 years old.It is a .22LR.Nothing really fancy, but I've never known what it was called.Just pure curiosity.Thank...

Re: New guy here.Gun I.D. please?
Welcome aboard! :welcome: I would suggest posting a separate thread for each firearm in the appropriate subforum here -> http://vagunforum.net/firearms/ Post pictures of the firearm, pictures of any marking and descriptions of markings or anything else you think might help. Oops.nOOb mistake. Thanks!
