Re: Private businesses with "no carry" signs
I'm still interesting in understanding the OPs rational. I think I have it figured out. Bad guy has his mind made up to rob, murder or whatever. He get's to the door of the buisness and see's the no guns allowed sign. He turns and runs away, scared out of his mind. A while later he's telling his bud...

While I know it is our right to OC, but I must ask this.....why OC? Can you not obtain a CCP? It seems like you are trying to attract attention to yourself.

Re: gun purchase delayed... & CHP question
For some reason, it has taken a very long time for me to get approved for gun purchases. 2-3 hours for a handgun, 1 1/2 hour for shotgun and I had to go back the next day to pick up my AR-15. I have not used my CHP for a purchase yet, maybe that will speed things up for me.
I wonder why?

Re: And it begins!!
Does anyone know who these people are that were legally OCing there? They were obviously an organized group that decided to express their constitutional rights. Could they be plants by the Dems. to open the door so they can tramp upon our rights? Legal, yes, smart, NO. If they were OCing for protect...

Re: Plaxico Burress Gets Two Year Jail Sentence
Two years is about right IMO. He could have gotten a lot more, it doesn't matter what he plead guilty of, he could have gotten a LOT more than 2 years. Let's see what he could have been charged/convicted of: Possession of a hand gun in NYC, concealed HG, possession of HG in a bar, drinking with a HG...

Re: Use Caution When You Party in Your Own Backyard
They should have been Tazered again for having Christmas lights up in the Summer !!!! Seriously, I am not sure what the noise laws are in PWC, but there were some pretty large speakers there and maybe their neighbor works nights and was trying to sleep. Check the immigration status of all involved a...

Re: I applied for my CHP today...
I had mine laminated at Office Depot for $1.50. It took them about 3 minutes. I wish the CHP were smaller, it doesn't fit my wallet very good.

Mine took 43 days in VB. Oh well, all that matters is that I have it now, right?

Re: Greetings from Chesapeake !!!
I haven't been to the Armory in 8 weeks or so, but they had mostly long guns there. I got my AR from there. I'm not sure what I want yet, but I am leaning toward A Para .45 or a Kimber .45......but need to try a few on for size. How's Superior Pawn to deal with?

Re: Greetings from Chesapeake !!!
Thanks OakRidge. Now I just need to find a good piece that is small enough to carry. Most of mine fit my hand nicely, but are a little hard to hide. Women just think I'm happy to see them.

Re: A&P ARMS Lynhaven Shooting Range
I went to A&P's Lynnhaven shooting range a few months ago with a newby to let him fire a few hundred rounds before he went to Ca. I didn't run into anyone having a bad day and the female range master was almost pleasant. I like the fact that I can shoot my Ar-15 and my 870 there too. You just ha...
