Re: Bob's in Tidewater

Probably the closest range to you in Suffolk at least that I know of is the Norfolk County Rifle Range, http://www.ncrr.net/ its still a haul for you though, or maybe C2 in Virginia Beach Pungo area http://www.thec2center.com/home.html Still a haul though. Best to find property out of the city limit...

Re: Bob's in Tidewater

Im sorry to hear about your experience at Bob's, Ive shopped there many times myself over the years growing up in Norfolk. Most of the staff at Bobs are very good, knowledgeable and helpful. Bobs has a really good selection of obscure hard to find products, (pricey but he has them) Anytime I wanted ...

Re: State checks

The background checks the dealers do in Virginia are the same checks dealers do in every state, however in some states the dealers do the checks directly with the FBI, in Va we do them with the state police. They check the FBI computers and state computers at the same time. There have been no staff ...

Re: .45ACP how many times can it be reloaded?

Reloading is alot of fun and rewarding, enjoy!! I started about 2 years ago so I could afford to shoot more often, then my older brother wanted to learn to shoot so I took him to the range and taught him the basic's.He bought his first gun and I made him a deal, pay for half the components and I wou...

Re: Armed Forces Recognition

I also like this idea! I would also like to see a badge for membership level in the NRA, Im a proud Life Member, lets see who else is, and if possible lets make them clickable, link to the websites of each badge to encourage people to join, I myself just renewed my VCDL membership, how about you???

Re: A "Jerk" Open Carrying @ Pep Boys.

Jerks like that make more and more retailers put up signs saying no guns! And its just MHO but I do not shop anywhere with those signs! Open carry is legal in Virginia, but if you are not responsible it hurts the rest of us. Myself I never open carry outside of my yard or gun store, it invites the w...

Re: .45ACP how many times can it be reloaded?

Inspect all brass before you reload it, check for any signs of cracking, excessive buldging or any failures! There is no set limit how many times you can reload it. I have had .40 brass reloaded more than 15 times loading at 4.7 grains, just light target ammo. With .45 I prob only get to reload a fe...

Re: question about CC and traffic stops

Ive carried concealed with a permit for over 25 years, Ive had more than a few run ins with the police. For the most part I'd have say they know what they are doing and are professional, even if some of them stretch the truth in court lol. From my experience and while there is NO law stating you hav...

Re: Where did you carry today? V1.0

Home Depot, 7-11, BP, Walmart Grocery Store, humm, come to think of it I carry just about everywhere everyday. Cant carry inside my day job but I leave it in my car which is always parked right outside, glass door and windows so I can see it.
