CZ 527 carbine in 7.62x39.
Does anybody have one for sale or know where I can buy one new or used right now? I've checked all the usual suspects online (bud's, grab a gun, impact, etc) and nobody has one in stock for some reason. I have cash in hand.

My C 527 Varmint in .223
Here's my CZ 527 Varmint in .223. http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r8/JDM74/15124776.jpg Shot it off a bipod for a while with some 52 grain reloads of Speer and Sierra bullets being pushed by 25.5 grains of Hodgons H4895. Got some sub 1MOA groups out if it usually in the .7-.8" range. http://...

Bench Rest Matches
Anybody shoot centerfire bench rest in the tidewater area? I know Lafayette has small bore matches every month or so and fairfax does 100/200 yard centerfire. Any place in NC that does it? Trying to see if I would be interested in it since precision shooting seems to be what I enjoy.

Newest addition
CZ 527 Varmint in .223. I love it. Shot it out at Lafayette Friday and C2 Saturday. No problem ringing the 300 yard gong on every shot at C2.

Nope, I added the hogue grip after I got it. Much better.Chasbo00 wrote:Did your SIG P239 come with the rubber grips? Mine did not, but I added them shortly after I bought the pistol - best $20 mod I ever made to a firearm.
Great looking lever gun too!

Not really. Honestly, I don't shoot it very much at all. What are the benefits?jrswanson1 wrote:Once again, my work proxy is preventing me from enjoying gun porn. I have a Ruger Mark II, fun gun. Have you thought about getting the magazine block taken out?

Re: Ruger 10/22-good starting Rifle?
My first gun was a 10/22 as well. Great gun. Currently I shoot a Savage Mark II though. I would look into them also if you don't mind a bolt gun.

Something different
Seems like nothing but 10/22's and AR 22LR conversions in here, so here is something different: http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r8/JDM74/IMG_1286.jpg Savage mark II. I bought this gun to replace my Walmart special 10/22. Wow, this gun is a tack driver. I've had it for a little while and it has a ...

Re: The Perfect .45 ACP Carbine.
Why not a Marlin camp .45? I know it doesn't take grease gun mags, but it does take 1911 mags so you wouldn't have to buy 2 types of magazines. Only issue is finding one since they stopped making them in 1999.
