also bring a copy of your current orders that put you in that state. i had to have them in Norfolk when i just put in for mine since i had an out of state drivers license.

Just got my CHP returned to me yesterday. 7 Days after applying for it in Norfolk. So much for that 4-6 week wait they told me when i turned in the application.

Active duty non-resident here.

i just bought a new handgun last week, in and out in 10 minutes with my DL, ID card, and orders showing i'm stationed here.
