Re: Concealed Carry on Mt. Vernon grounds?

Thanks for replies. I will post when I go and have an answer. I have ccp. As far as carrying where prohibited...with all the chest thumping about constitutional rights for "law abiding"citizens, I prefer to avoid hypocrisy and abide.

Concealed Carry on Mt. Vernon grounds?

I can't find anything online. Worse case I'll wait and see the sign on the way in. Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a sign prohibiting weapons/firearms at the door at Mt Vernon....as I learned today there is at Fedex....

Thanks!

Re: CHL: Carry or not carry poll

Would seem kinda silly to have a CHL and not carry....kinda like drinking decaf coffee or having a drivers license just in case you needed to go for a drive someday.
Wouldn't do a whole lot of good if one needed a defensive tool and the CHL was safely nestled next to the gun in the safe at home!

New to forum

Just tripped over this forum. Nice to find one specific to state of residence. Retired Navy, 24 years, a few boats and one ship. Still working towards total retirement. Try and shoot a couple times a week. It's therapeutic. Partial to Sigs but saving my pennies for a Wilson or Nighthawk next ...
